One of the things I love about Ashland is exemplified by what my camera captured in the short space of an hour's time. At today's high school baseball game at North Mountain Park I shot a portrait of Charlie Nuemann and his dog Pepito. Charlie has lived in Ashland since the 1940's and he and Pepito rarely miss watching the Grizzlies play. After the game I headed over to the Food Co-op where musicians Ken and Sarik were having an impromptu jam session. That diversity of subject matter is what makes this town such a great place to live--and take pictures.
