Every Tuesday from April to October the Growers' Market is held on the parking lot adjacent to the National Guard Armory. Fresh produce, plants, craftwork, and various food items are available direct from the people who grow, create, and prepare those items themselves. Jeff Anderson grows asparagus, corn, raspberries, and walnuts on a farm in the Applegate Valley. Because it's still early in the season, asparagus was all he had and, yes, he actually did sell out all he had on hand.
