Kari Jorgensen named her Ford F-250 Pickup "Daisy Tre" due to the yellow color and the fact that she's owned the vehicle on three separate occasions. She bought it new in 1989 in order to haul a horse trailer then traded it in for something more fuel efficient in 1992 when she entered grad school. A while later, struck with seller's remorse at parting with her beloved truck, she tracked it down to a used-car dealer in Portland and bought it back--for $200 less than she had received on the trade-in originally. Then she subsequently sold it to her father in Wyoming so he could use it in his work as a surveyor. In 1998, she received it back from him as a wedding present when she married her husband, Mark. They now use "Daisy Tre" for chore duty on their picturesque spread in Ashland's farm country.
