A week ago last Saturday I passed by a lot in which a lone figure was swinging an axe chopping firewood. It turned out to be SOU student Nick Andelin, doing volunteer duty for the Jackson County Fuel Committee, an organization that provides kindling for low-income households. Nick, who came from Tucson, AZ, is an aspiring writer.
