Ashland, Oregon is a town of 21,000 that has a lot in common with other small towns across America. It also has qualities that make it truly unique. Home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Southern Oregon University, people from various backgrounds and places have chosen to call Ashland home. As a photographer, I thought it would be a worthwhile project to document the varied aspects of Life in Ashland.

Ford Galaxy
Older cars always catch my eye and I've made them the subject (albeit sporadically) of this blog. I usually like to include the backstory of how the current owner acquired the car and if they've given it a name, which is often the case.
This time I wasn't so diligent (some might say nosy) in finding all that out. I did learn that the vehicle is a 1968 Ford Galaxy 500 (convertible, obviously) and that the young woman drove it out from Michigan two weeks ago. As I mentioned in a previous post, it seems a lot of these older models are owned by young people in their thirties or so. I suppose that could be the subject of a photo blog in itself.
