Ashland, Oregon is a town of 21,000 that has a lot in common with other small towns across America. It also has qualities that make it truly unique. Home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Southern Oregon University, people from various backgrounds and places have chosen to call Ashland home. As a photographer, I thought it would be a worthwhile project to document the varied aspects of Life in Ashland.

Chums
Another image in a series I should call, "Everywhere But Ashland". I've not been out taking pictures lately, so I'm pulling from the archives pictures I've taken in other places - mostly of business establishments with signs of some sort. Today's entry was taken August 2007 in Hurricane, Utah - the birthplace of Chum's, an "Eyewear Retainer and Outdoor Accessories" manufacturer. The people standing in front of the Chum's store are watching the annual Washington County Peach Days Parade pass by.
