The Ashland High School baseball team continued its quest for another 5A state championship by beating Madras 5 to 4 today at North Mountain Park. The victory advances the Grizzlies to the state title game this Saturday up in Keizer versus North Eugene. Sophomore 2nd baseman Ethan Schlecht is congratulated by his mother Joyce after the game. Ethan's solo home run in the 5th inning ended up accounting for the winning margin.
