Oregon is one of only two states (the other being New Jersey) in the U.S. where it's actually against the law to pump your own fuel at the gas station. So just like in the olden days, an attendant fills your tank and in some cases, washes your windshield. At our local 76 station on Lithia Way, Vince performs the courtesy with a smile.
