A feature of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival which takes place May through October is The Green Show. On an outdoor stage in the courtyard adjacent to the theaters, a free show featuring dancers and/or singers is held prior to curtain time for the plays. Not all are Shakespearian in theme - instead they derive from a broad spectrum with a different show every night. Yesterday evening, a Ballet Folklorico presented a colorful display of dancers accompanied by a mariachi band - showcasing a rich tradition of Mexican culture.
