Ashland, Oregon is a town of 21,000 that has a lot in common with other small towns across America. It also has qualities that make it truly unique. Home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Southern Oregon University, people from various backgrounds and places have chosen to call Ashland home. As a photographer, I thought it would be a worthwhile project to document the varied aspects of Life in Ashland.

Grizzlies Exult
The Ashland High football team advanced to the next round of the state playoffs with a hard-fought, well-played victory over Silverton last night. Both teams exhibited skillful play and admirable sportsmanship in a contest that the Grizzlies hung on to win, 43 to 35. They face Sherwood High in next week's quarterfinal game at Sherwood. It figures to be a tough challenge as the Bowmen are undefeated in averaging a 35-point margin of victory over their opponents.
