I encountered these two young guys on Main Street as they were leaving The Music Coop with their latest acquisitions. 33 rpm vinyl records have been making a big comeback, particularly among audiophiles who are able to distinguish the difference in sound quality from other types of recordings. New releases have 33 LP versions and old ones are being reissued - this time made of a higher-quality vinyl than they were back in the day.
Ashland, Oregon is a town of 21,000 that has a lot in common with other small towns across America. It also has qualities that make it truly unique. Home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Southern Oregon University, people from various backgrounds and places have chosen to call Ashland home. As a photographer, I thought it would be a worthwhile project to document the varied aspects of Life in Ashland.
