This morning there was a lot of activity in front of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival's Black Swan Theatre, next door to the Chamber of Commerce headquarters on Main Street. Workmen were removing an old, long-standing concrete fountain. The fountain was is disrepair, no longer functioning and Festival officials wanted to open up the courtyard in front of the theatre for other uses.
