Today is a national holiday, Martin Luther King Day, which the Kiwanis Club of Ashland honors by posting American flags along Main Street. Ron Parker and Lola were taking flags down at the end of the day near the Varsity Theatre, where SELMA, the movie about King and the civil rights movement is playing.
