In celebration of Earth Day 2013, a festival took place on the grounds of the ScienceWorks Museum today. These pictures don't give a complete picture of the event since each of these features someone selling a product. Most vendors were more modest in their scale and intentions.
Robert LaPorte of Econest describes the process of combining clay, straw and timber as a building material with a demonstration model. Kids were invited to participate in stuffing the clay/straw mixture in the model walls.
