A pitching coach holds a device in his hand to measure the speed of the baseball as it's being pitched toward the batter. In the foreground, a dog named Rama wanders the sidelines.
Rama belongs to one of the Ashland player's families. A German Shepherd - Malamute mix (a Shepamute they call him), Rama walks the sidelines, unable to sit due to a hip injury incurred when he was younger. His owner says he jumped out of a 2nd-story window in order to stop a fight between two cats. The 12-year-old Rama is actually a very sweet guy, despite the demonic-looking expression created by the flash on my iphone camera.
