Friday Night Lights

Last night, like tens of thousands of other high schools across the nation on a Friday night, Ashland High School played a football game.  The Grizzlies prevailed by a rather lopsided score of 61 to 14 over Marshfield High of Coos Bay, Oregon.

Refreshments were sold at the game by the AHS Booster Club, an organization of people from the community who help raise money to support the athletic teams at the school.  Gary Hartrick and a fellow volunteer chef cook up hamburgers for hungry fans.
