The Ashland Community Hospital Foundation strings lights in the form of a tree every year at this time in the small park across from the fire station. This is the view just before sunrise as jet contrails zig zag across the sky.
Local photographer Helga Motley has created a line of food for dolls, which she creates out of clay. She also teaches classes in the art of making these miniature items. Here she tends to her display at the Holiday Craft Faire held in a wing of the old Briscoe Elementary School, which now houses art studios.
