Maybe due to the state of the economy plus it being still early in the construction season; there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of home building or remodeling going on currently. There is this one taking place on Bush Street in Ashland's Historic District. A late 1800's farmhouse is being given a makeover by Jeff Sentle and his construction company, Jeffrey D. Sentle Construction. The Historic Commission carries quite a bit of clout in determining the scope of design changes to existing older homes - Maintaining their historic look and character is a high priority.
