This is a feature of this blog that may or may not continue on a regular basis; documenting old or unusual vehicles and their owners. There seems to be a large number of cars and trucks in this town that are markedly different due to their vintage, design, rarity, whatever. Could be a subject for a whole 'nother blog. Anyway, I came across this beauty today just down the street from where I live. It's a 1971 Dodge Pickup that owner David Strother said was a Bureau of Reclamation service vehicle his father bought at auction in California. In 1992, David's mother got tired of it sitting in her yard in Sacramento and told him to come retrieve it. "Big Yellow" has been living in Ashland ever since.
